  • Built by Blue Water Marine: we assemble each kit in-house from genuine Minn Kota parts: the 2774108 Advanced GPS head controller, the 2292505 control box base, your choice of remote, the lanyard, the insert plug & screw kit, and heat-shrink tubing for the wiring connections.
  • 100% working: it's the same Advanced GPS head Minn Kota uses on factory Advanced GPS PowerDrive motors. Minn Kota doesn't sell this upgrade as a single boxed kit, so we built one.

Why the 2007–2016 Kit Is Different

The Advanced GPS head is designed to sit on the newer Bluetooth-style control box. A 2007–2016 PowerDrive has an older base that it won't mount to, so this kit adds a brand-new 2292505 control box base along with the head. That new base is the difference from our 2017+ kit. The head and remotes are the same.

What It Does

This kit swaps the head of your 2007–2016 PowerDrive for Minn Kota's Advanced GPS Navigation controller. You get GPS anchoring and automatic steering on the motor you already own.

  • Spot-Lock: one button press holds your boat in place against wind and current.
  • AutoPilot: pick a heading and the motor keeps you on it.
  • iTracks, Routes & Go To: save your best trolling paths and come back to them.
  • Drift, Circle & Cruise Control modes (run them from the app, the Advanced GPS remote or a compatible Humminbird).
  • One-Boat Network app: control the motor and install software updates from your phone over Bluetooth.
  • Humminbird control: drive the motor from a virtual remote on a compatible Humminbird. The Ethernet cable is not included.

Choose Your Remote

  • Micro Remote: a small, waterproof key-fob remote for Spot-Lock, steering, speed, prop on/off, AutoPilot and high-speed bypass.
  • Advanced GPS Remote: a full-size remote that does everything the Micro does. It also records iTracks, saves Spot-Lock locations, sets boat scale and runs legacy AutoPilot.

The phone app works with either remote.
